### About Series "Village Doctor Jumbo! (2013)"

Village Doctor Jumbo! (2013) based on the manga of the same name, this movie is set in the town of Minatocho. Baba Hospital, the local clinic in a small port town, is closed for business. The clinic's director, Baba Kohei, dies suddenly and his only daughter, Asuka, a one-year-old nurse, is desperately searching for a doctor to succeed her. Then, Tsuruta Masayoshi, nicknamed Jumbo, suddenly appeared at Baba Hospital with an emergency patient with him. He used to work with Asuka's father at the hospital but left town due to some trouble 12 years ago. Despite saving patients with admirable skill, he is not the good young man he used to be, but has turned into a greedy, sadistic, and arrogant man. Moreover, he is here with Baba's IOU with the amount of 100 million yen he lent as well as the land and property endorsement. To Asuka's shock, Jumbo announced that the clinic was now his and settled into the position of clinic director for this reason. Asuka, who had adored him in the past, was stunned by the complete change in his behavior when they reunited after 12 years as well as resented by his superiority. This one is interesting, i read things about the novel and it is really controversial i wonder how much they will change the details. It is based on ayumi hamasaki's life btw. What I'm sure is it really could be a great drama.

I watched the first episode, I liked it. I guess they changed a lot of the names of characters/act/places due to licensing? If it helps here's what they changed: A-Victory = Avex Kiraku Tenmei = Komuro Tetsuya Velfine = Velfare USG = TRF Over the Frontier (OTF) = Every Little Thing, but based on the vagueness of the description and the context it could also apply to Do As Infinity. My best bet is the former though.
