At the beginning of her freshman year at college, Hana Uzaki reunites with Shinichi Sakurai, a high school student who was at the same club as her in high school. Surprisingly, an adult who was once active is a "lonely" student who allows him to spend his free time in a peaceful environment.

Uzaki does his best to keep Sakurai from being "alone," from persuading him to go to the movies to work part-time. Although Sakurai finds him funny and disgusting, and knows that his entertaining personality will lead the two to very funny situations, Uzaki hijinks and shenanigans.
