Tinted With You (2021) plot

In Korea’s feudal past, deposed Crown Prince Lee Heon was forced into exile when his cruel older brother usurped the throne. His sibling plans to permanently secure his position, leaving Lee Heon fearing for his life at every turn. Lee Heon has one ally, Geum, his loyal, kind-hearted guard.

Flash forward to the modern-day, where art is high school student Eun Ho’s entire world. He accepts a commission to complete an unfinished canvas despite its mysterious vibe. Inexplicably drawn into the distant past, he meets Lee Heon, with whom he forms a close and romantic bond.

Becoming restless, the acting king desires to murder the exiled Crown Prince. Eun Ho now understands that he may be Lee Heon’s best – if not sole – chance of survival.

• The main reason I stopped watching Korean romance dramas was all those stereotypes. The female character was always clumsy, naive and innocent. The male should be always rich, cold and the alpha. The female should always be at a lower level than the male in her career ( man's secretary, cook, housemaid etc.) ).The sense of comedy is always the same, the tragedy is always the same, the second male characters transformation into a bad man is the same.Korean BL's are much more original than straight love dramas.I mean, Lee Min Ho keeps playing the same character with different names on different series, for God's sake

• I think this is such a cute start! I just wait until Saturday when both episodes are up and subbed so I can watch back to back. Lovely haha

Just PSA about pirating these types of shows: Korean bls heavily rely on support. It is such a conservative country and making lgbtq+ mainstream media is a big deal. The reason these shows are so short is mainly because of funding. When you pirate and go to sites like dailymotion and others it gives ZERO support to the show.
