Plot

The temp, Ms. Kim (Kim Hye-Soo) is an extraordinary woman. She possesses very advanced skills in apparently every field of work. She is also very self-confident and always sticks to her ideals. Jang Kyu-Jik (Oh Ji-Ho) is a foreign-educated MBA, hired to transform a failing corporation. When you start working together on your new jobs, will you ever be able to coexist?

To turn its declining fortunes around, Y-Jang Corporation hires Jang Kyu-Jik, who just finished his MBA course in the United States. Kyu-Jik will serve as the team leader for the marketing sales division. On the plane ride to Korea, Jang Kyu-Jik sits in business class and is curious about the deals in the first class section. He finds an empty seat in the first class cabin and begins to munch on a rice cake that is available on a food tray. At that moment, a woman dressed in hippy style stands over him and tells him that he is sitting in his seat. As Kyu-Jik leaves his seat, he begins choking on a rice cake. The unusually dressed woman is able to save Kyu-Jik's life using sudden force. Grateful for her help, all Kyu-Jik can deduce from her is that she calls herself "Mrs. Kim".

On the first day of work for Y-Jang Corporation, Kyu-Jik walks happily with his old friend and now his coworker Jung-Han (Lee Hee-Joon). Kyu-Jik is then surprised when he sees Ms. Kim again, this time dressed in a business suit and walking towards them. Kyu-Jik runs up to Ms. Kim with enthusiasm and assumes that she is a high-level executive at a nearby company. Kyu-Jik is dumbfounded when the human resources manager informs Kyu-Jik that today is Ms. Kim's first day at Y-Jang Corporation as a temporary employee. Kyu-Jik is puzzled by Ms. Kim's dichotomy. In a conference room, the human resources manager hands Kyu-Jik and Jung-Han what looks like an instruction manual. The instruction manual is actually a detailed list of guidelines of what Ms. Kim will and will not do. Some of those stipulations include working at Y-Jang Corporation only for a period of 3 months, working only from 9 to 6 p.m. and never work on holidays. Kyu-Jik is enraged when he learns of all these clauses from a simple temp worker and even more so when his company agreed to abide by them. A very volatile relationship begins between the headstrong Kyu-Jik and the unflappable Mrs. Kim.
