ABOUT ELITE (TV SERIES)

Elite (stylized as ELITƎ) is a Spanish television series premiered on Netflix on October 5, 2018 in 190 countries around the world. The series is produced by Zeta Ficción TV for Netflix, and created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona. Currently, 4 seasons have been broadcast (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021) of 8 chapters each, with a duration of approximately 45 minutes per episode.345 The series narrates the life of a group of students of the exclusive private school "Las Encinas", where three new working class scholarship students arrive, and where the differences between rich and humble give rise to a murder. The second season deals with the disappearance of a student from the school and the third focuses on a new murder among the students. The fourth season revolves around the new rules of the school in the new course with the arrival of a new director. In the four seasons, the story is narrated through time jumps caused by flashbacks and flashforwards, where the police investigation and the events that occurred are mixed.

The series stars María Pedraza, Itzan Escamilla, Miguel Bernardeau, Arón Piper, Mina El Hammani, Ester Expósito, Álvaro Rico, Omar Ayuso, Danna Paola, Miguel Herrán and Jaime Lorente. Jorge López, Georgina Amorós and Claudia Salas join in the second season. Sergio Momo and Leïti Sène join in the third season. In the fourth season, Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, Manu Ríos, Pol Granch, Andrés Velencoso and Diego Martín joined.

Elite narrates the life of a group of students from an exclusive private school, where three new scholarship students from humble classes arrive, causing a confrontation between rich and poor that leads to murders and disappearances of students. The series explores various concepts associated with teen dramas. The main characteristic of the series is that, on the one hand, adolescent clichés are shown, while on the other, other more progressive themes are presented that are not normally treated in fictions about adolescents: sexual diversity, cultural differences, drugs, illnesses, harassment, drug use. of social networks, corruption, murders, robberies, etc.

There isn't a single person on the planet who hasn't heard of this film. The cast also does an excellent job in their parts. Before you read this review and before I give you any spoilers about the plot, I strongly advise you to watch the film. It's nearly impossible not to like ELITE (TV SERIES). The plot is well-crafted, the pacing is excellent, and all of the performers provide outstanding performances. Because of how excellent it was, it film stands out in my mind. Maybe it's because I wasn't expecting it. I strongly advise everyone to watch this film; you will not be disappointed.
