Designated Survivor: 60 Days Season 1 Overview
Designated Survivor: 60 Days (Korean: 60 일, 지정 생존자; Hanja: 60 日, 指定 生存 者; RR: 60Il, Jijeongsaengjonja) is a 2019 Korean drama based on 2016–2019 American drama point. The show stars Ji Jin-hee, Heo Joon-ho, Kang Han-na, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Bae Jong-ok. [3] The series aired on tvN and Netflix from July 1 to August 20, 2019. Designated survivor: 60 Days started with a bang: The Korean parliament exploded. Inside are the president and the government, all preparing to ratify a peace treaty with North Korea. Outside - just randomly fired by that president, who doesn't like him telling the truth about diesel engine pollution - is former Environment Minister Park Mu-jin. Park (Ji Jin-hee) is also a former science teacher, mocked behind in the style of a true politician and steamy behind his political ears. But with every senior government official missing in the rubble and Seoul in panic, Park has to stabilize the ship ... as acting chairman. If it sounds like you've heard all of this before, you probably already know: here's a Korean remake of the American political thriller Designated Survivor, starring Kiefer Sutherland. The first 16-part series is currently showing on Netflix, with new episodes coming to an end.
Park Mu-jin (Ji Jin-hee) is South Korea's Environment Minister, with little ambition to be a politician. After a diplomatic incident involving free trade negotiations with the United States, and Park's dispute over figures provided by the Environmental Protection Agency about pollution caused by imported cars, Chairman Yang Jin-ma (Kim Kap-soo) has removed him from office. The next day, when the President announced before Congress that he was making peace with North Korea, the building exploded, killing the entire line of Korean succession. Park Mu-jin, whose resignation has not yet taken effect, survived the accident. He was sworn in as Acting President for 60 days and began to discover the truth behind the bombing.
