DEFINITELY NOT TODAY SYNOPSIS

Mi Chong is a young man who suffers from severe social anxiety. He is so dissatisfied with his terrible life, which consists primarily of him staying at home all day, frozen with fear of social interaction, that he chooses to take his own life. He walks down to a neighboring river with the intention of killing himself. But when he sees a young girl named Zhi Liu about to die in the river, he leaps in instinctively to save her.

Zhi Liu, he had no idea, had also been through a difficult time. She is an extrovert, unlike him, but her stormy family life has worn her down, and she wants to go away from the people who have caused her sorrow. Despite their polar different dispositions, these two people form an unusual friendship — but may love blossom as well?

• Leon Leong as Mi Chong

Liang Jingkang, formerly known as Connor Leong, is a Chinese actor and model who currently goes by the name Leon Leong. He rose to prominence in China and Asia for his portrayal of Feng Meizuo in the television series Meteor Garden (2018).

He studied software engineering at Guangzhou University's South China Institute of Software Engineering. He started modeling and making commercials in college.

He was a contestant on He Jiong's idol reality program, and Angie Chai cast him alongside Dylan Wang as one of the cast members for the 2018 Meteor Garden adaption.

• Vivienne Tien as Zhi Liu

Vivienne Tien is an actress of Chinese descent from the United States. She graduated from high school in the United States and was accepted into the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2015.
