ABOUT BLACK LIGHTNING

Black Lightning is an American television series that airs on The CW, based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The series was created by Salim Akil, in the main cast are Cress Williams, China Anne McClain, Nafessa Williams, Christine Adams, James Remar, Damon Gupton, and Marvin "Krondon" Jones III. The series follows the life of Jefferson Pierce / Black Lightning, a retired vigilante who has to go back to his old ways when his daughters are kidnapped, this will have consequences for him, his family and the entire city. Development on the series began in September 2016 when Fox ordered production of a pilot for Black Lightning. In February 2017, Fox decided not to continue the series and The CW selected her with a new script for the pilot. The CW officially ordered the series in May 2017. Black Lightning premiered on January 16, 2018, for a 13-episode season.

On April 2, 2018, the series renewal for a second season was announced, which premiered on October 9, 2018. On January 31, 2019, The CW renewed the series for a third season, which premiered on October 7, 2019.6 The fourth and final season premiered on February 8, 2021 and concluded on May 24 of the same year.

BLACK LIGHTNING synopsis

Jefferson Pierce, who retired from being the vigilante Black Lightning nine years ago, after seeing the effects it had on his family, is forced to return when the local gang Los 100 leads to an increase in the crime and corruption in your community.

BLACK LIGHTNING IS WORTH TO WATCH

There isn't a single person on the planet who hasn't heard of this film. The cast also does an excellent job in their parts. Before you read this review and before I give you any spoilers about the plot, I strongly advise you to watch the film. It's nearly impossible not to like BLACK LIGHTNING. The plot is well-crafted, the pacing is excellent, and all of the performers provide outstanding performances. Because of how excellent it was, it film stands out in my mind. Maybe it's because I wasn't expecting it. I strongly advise everyone to watch this film; you will not be disappointed.
