BE YOURSELF SYNOPSIS

Four young women are starting their university careers. Despite being close friends, they are diametrically opposed in almost every way. Xia Lang Lang is a tomboyish, stubborn, and logical young lady. However, as she embarks on her post-secondary study, she realizes that she has a gentler side – and that romance may play a role in her life. Huang Fu Shu Min, on the other hand, is always the protagonist of her own story. Her strong suit is acting sweet and needy, and independence is not something she has ever experienced. But she quickly realizes that her university experience may well lead her to independence.

Then there's Fan Xiao Yu, a beautiful young woman from an affluent family who is both intelligent and beautiful. Despite her desire to be free, she has always stayed on the straight and narrow, honoring her family's wishes. When she starts exploring the world of business with a fellow student, she realizes that she might well be on her way to finding independence – and maybe even romance. Yang Jia Qian completes the quartet, constantly giving the impression of being wise beyond her years. But now that she is no longer under her family's watchful eye, she has a slew of hidden ideas and feelings that are ready to surface.
