The film is tied to metaphors, such as glasses half full, half empty, and the compatibility of organ donation itself, associated with issues of affection. The allegories sweeten this approach, which begins as a helping relationship, then exchanges teachings (he with the bicycle and she with the piano) until moving towards the expected romance. In addition to the lupus that limits Nina from playing, both must face the obstacle in Gabriel's profession, who refuses the privileges of nepotism in the hospital but has to deal with the rigor of his father and the difficulty of the doctor-patient relationship.

Nina ( Giulia Be ) is a talented pianist who has always dreamed of playing in the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra. After discovering that she has Lupus, a disease that affects the kidneys, her dreams start to fall apart little by little and she has to face the daily life of the hospital and hemodialysis.

Things start to change when Nina meets Gabriel ( Henry Zaga ), one of the resident doctors on the team in charge of caring for her and who helps her regain her dreams.
